Launching and amplifying a company blog
Corps security wanted to introduce owned content into its marketing strategy, and establish a platform on which its CEO could share expertise and encourage debate on the issues that affect the security industry. The CEO wanted to use the blog not as a sales tool for the company, but to share useful, practical and insightful information with the industry.
We worked to develop a standalone blog site that positioned the CEO as a thought leader in his industry. Amplification was key to the success of each blog, and in addition to planned, scheduled posts we also pointed media and industry commentators to the blog to drive the debate, and invite comment.
The blog quickly generated a significant number of page views each week, and the CEO became a go-to voice of authority for industry media. The increased awareness of the CEO naturally led to a wider awareness of Corps Security, and the site benefitted from an increase in web traffic.
