Maximising exhibition attendance with media outreach
Fike Safety Technology asked the Henley Group to help maximise exposure at its key exhibition, FIREX, at the NEC in Birmingham, as it was keen that PR activity helped them get maximum value from the event.
We drafted and issued a preview release, produced a comprehensive press pack and identified media attending the exhibition. We secured and hosted nine interviews with editors from the core media and senior client executives across two days.
This resulted in eleven immediate, flagship editorial opportunities for Fike, including requests for detailed feature articles, case studies and further interview opportunities. The promotional benefits extended well beyond the exhibition however, as press coverage of the products promoted through PR at the show continued to spin out for six months after the exhibition itself.
