The Challenge

Mallinckrodt wanted a range of senior stakeholders to join it in celebrating the opening of its global headquarters in the UK.

The Approach

The Henley Group was tasked with the entire process, from managing the invitation process to media outreach in the local and national business media. We sourced and managed multiple, trusted suppliers for everything from audio visual requirements to photography, set design and catering, while working within the restrictions created by the incomplete readiness of the new building. 

The Result

Working with Mallinckrodt’s other partners, the event was attended by the local Member for Parliament and other dignitaries, while we arranged an interview between the CEO and the City Editor of the Financial Mail on Sunday, which resulted in detailed coverage.
